TOGETHER AW22/23 collection drop is officially happening [BTS Video]
The Porto-based designer and creative director of the fashion house David Catalan engaged with his instagram followers, announcing that the TOGETHER AW22/23 collection drop campaign is officially happening, with pieces being added within the upcoming weeks to the official David Catalan's online shop. At the same time, the campaign was featured at fuckingyoung.es where a set of photos starring the collection was unveiled.
The collection has been presented at the Milan Fashion Week FW 22/23 and it is a homage to the tailoring of British school uniforms prevalent in the 60s and 70s. Besides the smartness of the attire, it is equally captivated by the versatility and comfort values of the English dress code - these are details deconstructed in this collection. The sense of freshness comes from his experimentation of proportions with diagonal lines to his magnified placements of rhombus motifs that refer to rhombus knitted vests fashioned by schoolboys from that era.
Starring João Gançalves shot by Dulce Daniel, styled by Paulo Cravo, and with the assistance of Maria Torre Rodrigues, João Tavares. The photos of this campaign had as stage the venue “O Marmorista” restaurant in Porto.
